If your looking to get to our wedding by train, Carlisle is the closest station. From there it's only a 10 minute drive out to Warwick-on-Eden, where the wedding is taking place. We would highly recommend booking train tickets as far in advance as possible, especially if coming from London, as they get much more expensive if booked at short notice!
The wedding is in a rural location and Uber is not available. You will need to book any taxis required in advance. Numbers of several taxi firms in Carlisle can easily be found on Google.
Coming from Australia
Firstly, well done. We know it's a journey.
When flying to the UK, London is often the cheapest and easiest option but we would also recommend checking flights to Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow. These airports are closer to Carlisle and easy to reach by train or rental car.
Coming from London
Train is definitely the easiest and fastest option. The journey from London Euston to Carlisle is around 3.5 hours and generally pretty comfortable. For cheaper tickets, it is worth checking if you're eligible for a Under-30s or Two Together railcard. You can drive up from London, but it will take significantly longer.
